Vita

 

Dr. Axel Gomeringer was born 1974 in Albstadt-Ebingen, Germany and is married

1994 until 2000 he studied aerospace engineering at University Stuttgart and ENSAE/Supaéro – Toulouse as well as business administration at University Stuttgart and University Hagen

 

2000 until 2007 he worked as consultant and researcher for innovation management at Fraunhofer IAO in Stuttgart. There he was project manager for implementing innovation processes and structures in the machine building industry and was responsible for elaborating innovation strategies for technology-driven companies. Amongst others he led the development of a technology strategy for cooling technologies for a Brazilian compressor manufacturer.  Furthermore he coordinated several international research projects in the field of innovation and technology management

 

2007 graduation as Dr.-Ing. at University Stuttgart

 

From 2007 until 2010 Dr. Gomeringer was project manager for innovation & technology management at Festo AG & Co. KG, where he was responsible for the design, development and implementation of the early phases of innovation management, covering trend and future management as well as research and pre-development processes. In this task he was coordinating innovation fields for the further development of the Festo products and service portfolio and was project manager for the energy efficiency at Festo

 

Since 2011 Dr. Gomeringer is Head of Innovation & Technology Management at Festo AG & Co. KG. He is responsible for the early phase of the innovation process and is leading a strategic initiative for energy efficiency at Festo

 

His research is focussing on innovation & technology management as well as sustainability in the manufacturing industry
